Regione Lombardia has supported the patenting process of “Sistema elettronico-informatico per l’interazione sensoriale a mani libere tra persona e oggetti ed ambiente circostante” under the program “POR – Obiettivo Investimenti a favore della crescita e dell’occupazione” part “FESR fondo europeo di sviluppo regionale 2014-2020”
Tooteko develops and markets innovatives solutions for museums and cultural institutions with a focus on inclusiveness and design for all.
The project aims to strenghten the core business by patenting a system consisting of hardware and software components, declined in a wearable device that acts as a bridge between the user and his smartphone and allows to interact with objects, spaces and outdoor environments through various sensory channels.
The project was developed thanks to the support of Jacobacci & Partners, based in Milan. The firm was responsible for the drafting of the patent documentation and submission to the National Patent Office and its European extension.
Tooteko develops and markets wearable devices designed to facilitate the daily life of fragile people (disabled, elderly, sick or children) aimed at inclusiveness, autonomy and safety, following the principles of design for all.
The patent fully reflects this mission, aiming at a series of positive impacts especially in the field of creative and cultural industries. Currently the artistic heritage (museums, exhibition spaces, natural parks, archaeological sites, public spaces, etc.) is not accessible to all.
The diffusion of this system will allow the access to the artistic heritage also to individuals who are denied it.The versatile application can also be extended to less specific areas, involving a wider mass of users.
Regione Lombardia ha finanziato l’iter brevettuale “Sistema elettronico-informatico per l’interazione sensoriale a mani libere tra persona e oggetti ed ambiente circostante ” sotto il programma “POR – Obiettivo Investimenti a favore della crescita e dell’occupazione” part “FESR fondo europeo di sviluppo regionale 2014-2020”
Tooteko sviluppa e commercializza tecnologie innovative a servizio di musei e siti culturali con particolare focus su “inclusività e design for all”.
Il progetto si propone di consolidare e potenziare il business attuale brevettando un sistema costituito da componenti hardware e software, declinato in un wearable device che funge da ponte fra l’utente e il suo smartphone e consente di interagire con oggetti, spazi e ambienti esterni attraverso diversi canali sensoriali.
Il progetto è stato sviluppato grazie al supporto di Jacobacci & Partners, sede di Milano. Lo studio si è occupato della redazione dei documenti brevettuali, della sottomissione al Ufficio Brevetti nazionale e della sua estensione Europea.
Tooteko sviluppa e commercializza wearable device pensati per agevolare la vita quotidiana di persone fragili (disabili, anziani, malati o bambini) finalizzati all’inclusività, autonomia e sicurezza, seguendo i principi del design for all.
Il brevetto rispecchia in toto questa mission, mirando ad attivare una serie di ricadute positive in particolar modo nel campo delle industrie creative e culturali. Attualmente il patrimonio artistico (musei, spazi espositivi, parchi naturali, archeologici, spazi pubblici, ecc) non risulta essere accessibile a tutti. La diffusione di questo sistema, consentirà l’accesso al patrimonio artistico anche ad individui a cui risulta negato. L’applicazione, di sua natura versatile, potrà poi essere estesa anche ad ambiti meno specifici, anche coinvolgendo una massa di utilizzatori più ampia, meno di nicchia e meno specifica.
